The Werner Reimers Foundation

Welcome to the homepage of the Werner Reimers Foundation. We invite you to read more about the institution and its activities.

1963 the entrepreneur Werner Reimers (1888, Yokohama – 1965, Freiburg im Breisgau) established the foundation which was named after him. The non-profit organisation is located in Bad Homburg, close to Frankfurt am Main.
The Werner Reimers Foundation is dedicated to the fostering of science and research that concerns itself with the studies of mankind, its nature and environment. Furthermore the organisation also commits itself to impart the findings of the studies to the public. The complex science about the nature of man is an interdisciplinary endeavour and is for that reason conducted by experts from diverse subject areas.

At present the foundation concentrates its means and abilities especially towards the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften in Bad Homburg. This initiative has been established together with Goethe University Frankfurt in 2006.
